What It Does

The cardiology training centre at Policlinico San Donato, directed by Prof. Alessandro Frigiola, runs programmes for clinicians travelling in from across Italy and from abroad. Coordinating each intake, the scheduling, the documentation, the back-and-forth that happens long before anyone lands, was quietly eating the team's week. This is the internal assistant that absorbs it. Alongside the coordination, it doubles as the centre's own registry: every course they have run, and the historical record behind it, kept live and queryable rather than scattered across spreadsheets nobody can search. Because the work touches sensitive data, none of it goes near a third-party AI provider. Gemma is self-hosted on the hospital's own infrastructure, so nothing leaves their network.
